Things to Do in the Kasbah & Mellah

South of the medina, the Kasbah district holds the Saadian Tombs and El Badi Palace, with the Bahia Palace a short walk further into the old Mellah, the former Jewish quarter. All three charge separate entry fees, whatever a tout at the gate tells you. Go early — the Saadian Tombs are a single small courtyard and get crowded fast once the tour buses arrive mid-morning.
